The Loan Originator Ascension Study
We’re studying the real behaviors, mindsets, and systems that drive referral-based growth—so loan officers can stop guessing, stop wasting time, and start running a proven playbook.
A first-of-its-kind field study on how mortgage loan officers evolve into elite producers.
Why This Study Exists
Most loan officers aren’t struggling because they don’t work hard.
They’re struggling because they’re working on the wrong things—or working without clarity.
This study is designed to uncover how loan officers actually ascend over time:
the mindset shifts that change how they approach growth,
the skills that unlock new levels of performance, and
the behaviors that separate “busy” from “effective.”
Not theory. Not generic advice.
Real patterns from real loan officers.

Individual responses remain confidential and are never shared publicly without permission.
No action required from you
-
Once the data set is large enough to be meaningful, participants will receive a summary of key findings, patterns, and takeaways from the study.
This includes insights into:
which strategies actually drive results,
where most loan officers waste time,
and how elite producers approach growth differently at each stage.
